Our Story
Founded in 2023, Hope City Church was birthed out of a calling to bring the hope of Jesus Christ to our community, nation, and world. Pastor Chad and Amy have served as pastors in the Cass County area for over 11 years. Beginning in the Hunter’s Pride Building off I-49 South, HCC grew from two to three services requiring the move to their current location at the Mill Walk Mall.
Hope City Church launched in its current location on Easter Sunday, 2023 with over 1,500 people in attendance. Currently running four services, Hope City Church continues to remain focused on being a people of faith, anchored in hope, and known by love.
People are
finding hope
Every Sunday people encounter the Holy Spirit through worship, growing in God’s Word, and finding genuine hope for their lives. Hope lives in this House!
New people are finding Hope City! Families are pouring in and the church is growing. We now have 4 services to make sure everyone has a seat.

We
are at
capacity
We’ve got a great problem… GROWTH! We’ve added rooms, services, and chairs, but our facilities are at capacity as people continue to find hope in our services.
Next
Generation
Youth are not the church of tomorrow; they are the church of today! We are passionate about the next generation finding and following Jesus through ministry, discipleship, camps, and events designed for them.
Our church rallied in a big way for kid’s ministry in 2023! Events like Summer Blast, KidsCore, and Candytopia were safe, fun, and Jesus-centered ways for our community to grow in God and know the church.
The next
step to
impacting
our region.
Our greatest challenge at Hope City is our facilities. We are out of room. If we’re going to see more lives transformed, we need to make more room for them in our church family.

Our next step is to purchase land to build a permanent home that will provide the ministry space we need to carry out our mission. We are looking for land near our current location to start the process and we are calling our church family to catch the vision.

the Reality

Our City...
PRAY
This is the most important step. Nothing happens outside of prayer! If prayer moves the hand of God, then prayer is our highest priority. Take a moment to pray for this campaign, the work at Hope City, and how God wants to use you. Pray for the Holy Spirit to guide the process of leading us to the land of our future home. Pray bold prayers.
COMMIT
Next, take a step of faith and make a commitment. Go ahead and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal to you a number. Remember, it’s not equal giving; it’s equal sacrifice. If we are better together, then imagine what we can do when we commit… together! Use the commitment card and the QR code to automate your gift and trust God to build His kingdom through your gift.
GIVE
Finally, give. This is the action step. If it is more blessed to give than receive, then this is the most exciting part. God’s word tells us that He will throw open the windows of heaven over our church and pour out uncontainable blessings on us. Amen! Giving is not our job, it’s our joy.

One final word
We love you, Hope City. Words can’t express how grateful we are to be serving as your pastors and linking arms together. Who could’ve imagined what God was going to do in 12 short months? Yet, we are convinced now more than ever that “no eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no human mind has conceived the things God has prepared for those who love Him” (1 Cor. 2:9). The best is yet to come!
This is a moment God has given our church. Seize it. Let’s be faithful. Let’s be faith-filled. Let’s rise to meet the moment and bring the hope of Jesus Christ to our community, nation, and world. Amy and I are “convinced of better things concerning you; things that accompany salvation” (Heb. 6:9). Let’s go, Hope City! And may the Lord return manifold blessings upon you for your partnership and investment.
